Definition of IPC 175:
Omission to produce to document or electronic record to public servant by person legally bound to produce it.
Classification :
This section is Bailable, Non-cognizable and Non-compoundable.
Triable By :
The Court in which the offence is committed, subject to the provisions of Chapter XXVI or, if not committed in a Court, any Magistrate.
Punishment :
According to Para 1 – Simple imprisonment for 1 month, or fine of 500 rupees, or both.
According to Para 2 – Simple imprisonment for 6 months, or fine of 1,000 rupees, or both.
