Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony.

Triable By :
Any Magistrate of the first class.
Punishment :
According to Para 1 – Imprisonment for 3 years, or fine, or both.
According to para 2 – Imprisonment for 5 years and fine.
