According to Para 1 and 2 – Magistrate of the first class.
According to Para 3 – Court of Session.
Punishment :
According to Para 1 – Imprisonment for 2 years, or fine, or both.
According to Para 2 and 3 – Imprisonment for 7 years and fine.
sir, a case under 498a file against me and my parents in 2009 i surender and remain 1 month in jail after that case register and during arguments in 2011
my wife become hostile and say in court she want to closed the case ,our advocate advice us if she want to closed the case then dont apose her because court having soft corner towards women, case closed as wife and her brother become hostile.in 2012,she submit fake medical opd paper in court.
sir ,i want to know can i file a case under ipc211 against her and her brother ,is there any ruling regarding this please help me
